Monthly Web Based Bookmobile Staff Meetings
All bookmobile library staff should participate in monthly staff meetings. These meetings are held via the internet using a software service called OPAL (Online Programming for All Libraries--And All Library Users.)
OPAL is an international collaborative effort by libraries and other organizations to provide web-based programs and training for library users and library staff members.
General Instructions for Entering an OPAL Online Meeting Room:
Click on the room you wish to enter (Utah State Library)
- The first time you enter an OPAL online room, a small software applet will automatically download onto your computer allowing you to enter the room. The applet enables your computer to participate in the discussion. It is safe.
- Type your name into the Name Field, then either press the Enter key or click on the Enter button. No password is needed.

The download is simple. Just go to the Talkcom site and click download.
