Summer Reading 2006
Summer Reading Program materials purchased and distributed through the Utah State Library sponsors and provides the program materials available from the Collaborative Library Summer Program (C.S.L.P.), developed by the C.S.L.P. collaborative that currently includes 36 member states and regional library districts.
The artist for this year's program is illustrator David Shannon.
Teen Theme:
The artwork for the YA program was designed by Russell Walks.
Theme for 2007: Get a Clue & YNK (You Never Know)
Theme for 2008: Catch the Reading Bug & Metamorphosis
Resources:
The newly designed C.S.L.P. website is where you may view and download audio and video PSAs, order incentives, view resources shared by member states, and find resources about advertising. If you have anything to contribute to this site, please submit to Sarah at spitkin@utah.gov.
Packets from ULA Session: If you missed the ULA Conference session on next year's summer reading theme Get a Clue, email your name and address and I'll send the handouts to you.
Summer Reading Reports:
Summer Reading Report Forms were sent out so libraries will know what statistics to collect. Be sure that you keep statistics of participants and volunteers during your summer reading programs so that you will be prepared to report back.
