New Media Literacy

Media Literacy is changing. Fact and fiction used to be easier to differentiate, but with new technologies that line is becoming blurrier. This webinar will discuss new technologies in machine learning, video, audio and more that any media literacy educators should know. While some of the same strategies for discovering credibility remain, the 21st century calls for a deeper look at the “Who?” and “Why?” rather than the “What?” and “When?”. This webinar will dive into the “Who?” whether it be an AI or human and discuss the “Why?” of belief.
